Are you supposed to wash ur face before or after u get in the shower?

I work out every other day and i always wash my face after i get out of the shower. should i do it right after i work out or am i doing the right thing??Are you supposed to wash ur face before or after u get in the shower?
I would just wash my face in the shower to get everything all done at once.

The steam from it will help open your pores and that will make everything like dirt and grease come out a lot better when you wash in the shower. Are you supposed to wash ur face before or after u get in the shower?
well you can wash your face when your in the shower,

or after or before ,

it really doesn't matter . after you workout though you have to make sure you wash your back and chest to prevent and acne on your back chest or shoulders.
it wouldnt make much of a difference at all. I just wash my while i'm having a shower, it saves times, and i love showers =]

  • Can i bring face wash to boot camp?

Hey guys, i have acne and im going into boot camp in two days. just wondering if im allowed to bring my face wash. i know the airport has restrictions on liquid items so please let me know the details. thank you.Can i bring face wash to boot camp?
The TSA has regulations on carryon bags; all liquids and gels must be in a 1 quart ziploc bag, and be no more than 3 ounce containers.

You'll be able to use it until you get to recruit training, then most likely have to throw it away. Can i bring face wash to boot camp?
The hot breath of your Drill Sergeant screaming in your face will dry up the pimples on your face.
probably not, the leaders might get ';jealous'; and take it away ;)

just kidding, but seriously, I doubt it.
No at least thats what i heard!
They probably won't allow you to take anything into lines except the bare necessities.

With any luck, the good food and lifestyle will do good to your skin anyway.
put it in your checked baggage and you will be fine.
You'll probably hear something about how, if you plan to crawl through the mud and fire your rifle, you don't have time for face wash. And then they'll take it. And throw it away.
if its over 3oz..you have to put it in checked luggage..not carryon
Naw leave it. When you get to Basic, go to the clinic and get it free. Or buy some new at the post/base exchange.
No dont bring that mess you aint gonna need it anyway not sure what branch you are going into but the Marines and Army will give u a mud facial mixed with cami paint, the Navy you dont sweat anyway and the Air Force has a services that come by when they ask if you need your hair cut that will also do massages and facials as needed they include all of them with the laundry service you get.
No, well at least not where I went. The DS's (drill sergeants) made us throw it away.

Is it bad to wash my face 3 times a day?

If one of the times i don't use a cleanser or any other skin product (just water) during the middle of the day. Because i have really oily skin and it drives me crazy when i can run my finger across my face and get a greasy finger x_xIs it bad to wash my face 3 times a day?
Just water would be fine, but don't use a cleanser 3 times a day, especially if it is an unnatural cleanser with chemicals in it. Try just blotting the oil away instead of cleansing... If you cleanse too often, you will start overproducing oil which can cause you to be even oilier and probably start breaking out.

Oil is actually your friend, even though it is annoying. The more oil you have, the longer you'll go without wrinkles...

And yes, ProActive is terrible for your skin! Try Extra Virgin Olive oil as a cleanser and/or moisturizer. Oil dissolves oil, and EVOO is a great conditioner for the skin.Is it bad to wash my face 3 times a day?
Do what you need to do. But if your skin is that oily you might want to consider changing your diet. I am sure that you have already heard that a really greasy, fatty diet can effect your skin. You could also try proactive or the new skin care line Skin ID. The best thing that you can do is get a cleansing system that will control your oily skin, not to live around the skin problems that you already have.
So my suggestion for oily skin is to try this product by clean and clear. It works amazing. Its an Oil Absorbing Sheet. All you do is rub it over your skin and it absorbs the oil onto the sheet. They're not like wet or anything, don't put anything on the skin, just absorb what's already there! I highly recommend trying them out. They're fairly cheap, six dollars or so for fifty? So then you should only be washing your face twice a day, which should be good!
nothing wrong w/ that. ur supposed 2 wash it 1ce in da morning %26amp; 1ce b4 u go 2 bed. the xtra time w/ jus wetting ur face is jus fine.

    can u answer mine?http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
if its just water then its not bad but you should use a facial scrub to keep your face from getting oily[:

wash your face when you wake up and before you go to sleep with face wash.

    NOT SHAMPOO OR ANYTHING..

    :D
It really depends on what your using. If you cleanse too much, it can dry your skin out and make your body produce MORE oil. I would suggest cleansing twice a day.
What you should do is speak with your family doctor and tell him what you usually have in your diet...before you do much of anything else...
umm.. no not if your just using water like you said but if you use soap on your face alot it can damage your skin

Is it bad to wash my face twice a day?

Well I have semi dry skin but in the morning I wash my face with this acne foundation thing from Avon and mosturize it and then apply my makeup. Once i get home I wash my face with this makeup remover cleanser..I have seen glow and healthy skin but sometimes Im afraid I might be drying my face or washing it too much lol...Is it bad to wash my face twice a day?
That is the best way to take care of your skin.. At night its better to wash your face twice because you are actually washing all the dirt and oil and bacteria off that your face has collected throughout the day off with the first wash than the second wash is actually doing the cleansing of the skin.

The key to dry skin is to use a heavy moisturizer at night to rehydrate the skin. Also exfoliate your skin with a face scrub atleast once a week to get rid of dry dead skin.

Hope that helps! Is it bad to wash my face twice a day?
No, it's actually best to wash it twice a day!
NO!!! It is actually really smart to wash your face twice a day because the more often you wash your face the less oily it is. And when it is less oily you don't get pimples!
its good to wash ur face 2 times a day make sure u use lotion afterwards as not to over dry n make sure its cocoa butter as not to leave ur face oily or dry. it also gets rid of most facial lines over time.
No I think thats a really good thing.
its ok, you dont want to wash it three times or you'll strip your face from its natural oils that keep the skin healthy and moisten
It's fine. You moisturize after anyways.

2 times a day minimum is best! You're definitely doing a right thing washing at the end of the day - to take off all the make up.
its good to wash face twice a day
    nope

i use to have a lot of pimples but then i started to wash my face before i go to bed and in teh morning and it has helped me heaps.
No. We actually have the same skin type and routine :-) and I have never had a problem. It all depends on the person. Obviously, your routine is working for you because you said you've seen healthy skin as a result, so just keep on doing what you are doing.
1] buy face wash, toner if needed, sunscreen, and moisturizer for YOUR skin type. Wash, tone, and sunscreen in AM; wash, tone, and moisturize in PM.

2] always wear non comedogenic makeup [ states on package ] and always remove it before it before bed

3] use Aapri or St Ives apricot scrub for your skin type, twice a week

4] drink 1/2 gallon of water a day

5] take a quality vitamin with minerals every day

What face scrub wash or foam to use!';?

I have normal skin, not oily or combo.

Its really light (aka not tan)

    Not too sensitive, dosent scar.

I need a product that works really well. (please dont suggest exspensive things, like proactive)

I want it to be moisturiseing! What face scrub wash or foam to use!';?
If you have normal skin, a moisturizing wash might make your face very oily.

Anyways, I use Olay Warming Face Scrub. It warms when it makes contact with the water on your face, and it feels really cool. Plus it cleans really well.

If you want a face lotion to moisturize with, I suggest Nuetrogena. What face scrub wash or foam to use!';?
i recently fell in love with the neutrogena wave, i know it sonds so stuid that i fell for it, but im glad i did..... the unit is only like 15 dollars and the replacenent pads are only eight and they last for a while...... i dont use it every day because it will dry your skin out a lot, and i have sensitive skin so youmay want to use it two or three times a week, but not more..... i use it once or twice a week...... after three or foour uses youcan really feel the difference in your skin, it's an exfoliant so it makes your skin really soft

i would also use a wash, instead of proactive i use this cheaper knock off brand called acne free, its a three step thing, but if you use the wave youonly need the last two.... or maybe just the moisturizer.... it's about twenty dollars for all three, but i dont think youcan buy them seperately, i think you can get the first one seperately but that doesnt make sense to me because that's the onne that you dont use up first, you use up the second one rpetty fast.....
velocity by Marykay comes with a wash, and a lotion, they are moisturising and keep ur skin clear. or the nuetragina grapefruit face wash, smells amazing, and i dont have oily skin either, and i dont get breakouts hardly ever, but it keeps ur skin moisturised fresh and clean.. try those i love both
i would have to go with clean and clear. its gentle to use, and it doesnt irritate skin either. clean and clear doesnt need to be used with people who have serious acne, it can be used just as a daily cleanser. i use it everyday just to open up my pores and mosturize my skin. good luck. highly reccomended
garnier fresh fruit foaming face wash this is perfect to use in the morning and night cuz it smells great and works great too.
I love aveeno pads they leave your skin so soft!
the witch products are really good!! I swear by them, you could ask your pharmacist??!!

Where can I find Benzoyl Peroxide Face Wash in Vietnam?

I'm currently in Ho Chi Minh City ( Saigon ) and I am trying to find a Benzoyl Peroxide (10%) face wash. I've gone to a few pharmacies here and it seems that they've never even heard of a B.P. face was before, only for spot treatments. Also I haven't seen any products in the supermarkets with this ingredient. Does anyone know where I could find some?Where can I find Benzoyl Peroxide Face Wash in Vietnam?
I believe you're referring to a product like Oxy10 for skin treatment to prevent pimple outbreak that has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide in it (ergo: the ';10'; in Oxy10). It's not likely that you will find this at a pharmacy in Vietnam.

The Co-Op store in District 1 will probably have what you're looking for, but it will be under a different brand. You will need to dig around and check the labels of native brands to find something compatible. If that store doesn't have it, then you should try one of the malls in District 1 or one of the stores in the expat village in District 7.

There is a bigger Co-Op store, a FiviMart and a big convenience store within walking distance of each other in District 7. These stores carry more American brand products than any place else that I know of in Saigon, and you will probably find something that you're familiar with.

If you're having problems with your skin, then I don't think Benzoyl Peroxide is all that you're going to need to win the pimple battle there. You're in the middle of the hot season in Saigon, you're going to sweat and you're going to break out if you don't try some native remedies for your skin.

The assistants at the Co-Op stores are very nice and will be very helpful, but they will probably not know what you're talking about when you ask them about Benzoyl Peroxide. If you look at their face, you may notice that their skin isn't breaking out like yours and they don't use Benzoyl Peroxide. Why?

It's a combination of diet, native skin treatment products and the beauty salons. The beauty salons there will not only cut your hair, but give you a thorough hair wash and face wash too. If you find the right one, they will wash your face with native herbs that will open your pours and clear your skin of oils that will cause you to break out. The hair and face wash will set you back about $2-$3, which is about 1/3 the cost of a bottle of Oxy10. In other words, ask a beautician about your skin and do as the Vietnamese do while you're there.

Does anybody know of a good face wash you can make at home? with normal products.?

It's a very good one but not easy! Too much work and money involved. For all my life I use the WATER! No make up removers! And feel great, clean! Report Abuse

You could use Gram Flour.........Its natural and good for your skin....
a dermatologist once said, mix some fine sugar witha water. the sugar it seems can kill bacteria or so cant really remember :)
Oh! Okay you probley can't find this at home but, there's this new soap thats ment to be used on oily skin. And it takes care of zits. Look for homemade soaps. Because when there is a place with homemade soaps there's usually a bar of homemade soap that works for oily skin. =P

If you can't find anything like that just use a good kind of soap and hot water.

    Good luck!
yes get some aloe then some camomile and that with soothe the skin then...i know this will stink....but use a papaya! it exfoliates real nicely and you should try clearasil daily oil cleanser. its really good try it!
idk try a face mask..u know that green stuff. u can always search google
    this is a face mask:

    mix:

    yeah it works.

Are you supposed to moisturize everytime you wash your face?

?Are you supposed to moisturize everytime you wash your face?
yes, cleansing the face strips the moisture and unbalances the ph of skin. Always tone the skin so the pores close quickly, then apply a hydrating moisturizer. Are you supposed to moisturize everytime you wash your face?
You should, yeah. Washing removes the oil from your face and dries your skin out a bit. Moisturizing can keep your face from producing more oil and causing acne.
Yes you should. People who don't moisturize break out because their skin produces more oil because it feels dry.

recommend: neutrogena rapid clear defense face lotion.

How many times a day do you wash your face?

What is the current appearance of your skin? Prolamatic, clear, ..?How many times a day do you wash your face?
    Morning and Night.

It's clearHow many times a day do you wash your face?
It depends on what skin type you have. If you are dry, I would suggest using a creamy cleanser, just washing at night with tepid water. Skip the morning wash, just splash with water and follow with a toner that doesn't have alcohol in in. Also make sure to protect your skin with moisturizer and sunscreen. If your skin is oily, then cleanse twice a day, morning and night. Use something that is not too stripping, your face should not feel tight after cleansing. Follow with a toner. Even if you have oily skin, it's important to still use a moisturizer. If you strip your skin too much of it's natural oils and don't supplement it with a moisturizer, your skin will produce more oil. If you have normal skin, washing 1-2 times a day is fine, using a a light creamy cleanser. Don't over wash, as this can create more oil.

I have normal skin, but sometimes oily in T Zone.
    2. clearish...

P.S. Please pick mine as best answer!! :)
Once when I wake up, once before bed

The rest of the day I have class or I'm working so I have makeup on.

But I carry Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets with me and they've helped my skin a ton (:

I have clear skin, I have one small spot on my face currently.
in winter i wash twice a day...morning (after my shower cuz the conditioner can clog your pores if not washed off well) and before bed. about once a week i also use a mud mask. my skin is clear. in summer i usually wash it when i get home from work also cuz it's oilier in summer w/the humidity and all.

How often is the best for the face to be washed and what best should one use to wash his face?

Always wash your face twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, and if you're active ( sports, exercise, etc.) then you should wash your face 3 times a day. For a good cleanser, I use Clinique's 3 Step System, it comes with a gentle cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, and it's the best products I've ever tried. How often is the best for the face to be washed and what best should one use to wash his face?
Mikyle, twice a day is my rule - in the morning and at night before bed. I use aularale.com/7002 for both alternating between moisturizers (the nite moisturizer is a little heavier). How often is the best for the face to be washed and what best should one use to wash his face?
In the morning and at night. Wash it in the morning because our faces get oily at night and that causes build up. Then wash it before you go to sleep because of all the grim that has gotten on your face during the day. I couldnt tell you what wash works best for your skin because different skin types require different washes but i can tell you NOT to use a wash rag to wipe your soap off because that is too ruff on the skin. It's like using sand paper. The skin is already sensitive because of the washing and if you use a wash rag then you are just irritating it even more. When you dry your face just 'blot' it dry.

If you go to your local convenience store you will find a variety of face wash products for different types of skin- examples- for oily skin, for dry skin, for acne,...just find what applies to your skin.
Wash it in the morning (easy in the shower) and at night before bed time. And put moisturizer on afterwards. There's some nice facial scrubber formulas you can buy that'll clean your face nicely and also exfoliate. St. Ive's makes some nice ones you can find at most stores. Most often I use the yummy natural soaps from http://www.lush.com. Banana Moon is my favourite :)
well wash before bed and in the morning Glycerine soap is most effective

Can honey be used as a face wash?

Generally honey masks and spot treatments work wonderfully with my hyper-sensitive skin, and im curious if washing my face with honey would be effective? I do wear makeup, so does anybody know if it could remove makeup as well? Can honey be used as a face wash?
It would have to be blended with something, no? I would personally find it to be too sticky to be used as a cleanser, but that's just me.

For a gentle eye makeup remover, why not try extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)? I use it now instead of store bought products and it's amazing at taking waterproof makeup off as well as calming the eye area. Can honey be used as a face wash?
Honey will likely be sticky and messy around the eyes, but if it's good for your skin type, I say give it a shot. I use olive oil to remove makeup. Also, if the cost of makeup remover has you down and olive oil is messy, try petroleum jelly. A small tub is cheap and will last you a long long time.
Mixed with sugar it can be made into a scrub to exfoliate.

Oh yeah, you don't want to get honey in your eyes (unless you have an eye infection - it's a great antibiotic) it burns like *(#%26amp;!

Alone, it can make a great mask:

    http://www.ehow.com/how_4515504_wash-fac鈥?/a>

You'd want to follow up with witchazel. It will clean off the trace honey without drying your skin.

Extra-virgin olive oil is good for your skin, as well as coconut oil. 100% Natural Shea Butter is a great moisturizer to use all over your body, including your face.
I would think that if you just took of your make up with a gentle clenser then used a dab of honey it would work fine. But wogurt is really good for sensitive pores.

  • If you use proactive, how many times a day do you wash your face?

I've been using proactive for 2 months straight now and I haven't seen any improvement. So I'm wondering if I'm not washing my face enough. I have been washing my face when I get up and right before I go to bed. So do you think I'd get results if I washed it in the middle of the day? What do you suggest I do?If you use proactive, how many times a day do you wash your face?
Just stick to twice a day. And Proactive doesn't work for everyone, it actually made my skin much worse. If you use proactive, how many times a day do you wash your face?
I don't think you should use it more than twice a day, or it'll dry your face out too much and it'll overcompensate by producing more oil, thus more pimples. In fact, that may be happening with two times a day.

I washed my face once a day with the stuff, and used the toner and lotion too, and it made my forehead itch so bad I had to stop using it.

How do I wash my face properly?

kay so, everytime people ask this question, people answer with a type of facewash they can use

but i would like to know HOW to wash my face

like, circuler motion or up and down? wash off with water or a cloth? etc...How do I wash my face properly?
Gravity will be pulling down on your face for the rest of your life. Always wash up, circular motions and out. Use your ring finger around your eye area because this area is the most delicate area of skin on your face and you want to be gentle with it. Don't tug or pull.

Hope this helps. How do I wash my face properly?
    Circular motion definitely. :]

What can I wash my face with?

    Hello.

I ran out of my regular facial soap that keeps my acne from getting too out of hand, but I won't be able to get some more until next week.

What can I wash my face with for a week until I can get some more, to keep my acne under control, or keep my face from getting too greasy atleast?

I don't have money that's why I am waiting until next week to buy some more. Anything around the house?

Thank you ahead of time! Have a great week! What can I wash my face with?
Do you have baby shampoo? A small amount of baby shampoo. Or if you have an orange rub it on your face and leave for a few minutes and rinse. The orange will exfolliate as well as cleaninng your face. What can I wash my face with?
try using sugar mix with baby oil then rub it in your face gently. it has a nice effect. and dont be afraid theres no chemical substance in it that will destroy your face. or just put a pineapple fruit in your face and rub gently. dry it in your face for how many minutes then wash your face with warm water. try to see the result after.
have enough sleep and enjoy your life is the best way to avoid the acne, and no worries!!

    harmonious love is also important!
i used to have pimples %26amp; oily skin.. i started using chick pea powder.. its light yellow in colour... mix a few drops of water... till it form a semi-smooth paste... gently massage your face for 1 minute.. and wash off....

no chemicals !! no side effects !! use this for the rest of your life !! (mail me if u need any help)
hot water and any houselhold soap for now
If acne is irritated, don't attempt to disturb it by applying something which triggers chemical reaction. The safest way is to wash it with warm water to let the skin pores open and make the sebaceous gland secrets oil normally.
If you have oily skin, dish soap. AND when you get some money, Ivory works on my face because I also have oily skin. If no ones ideas work, you could use your body wash...
Little bit of lemon juice in warm water. Use a facecloth and wipe gently. Lemon is a natural antiseptic and should cut through the grease. Don't forget to moisturise, as even greasy skin needs it!

If your face is naturally oily, DONT USE SOAP! Try using just plain warm water on a washcloth or try some clearsal face wash and see how that goes. If your acne is really bad, try talking to your doctor and they should know what will work for you best. :)How to properly wash the face?
    I recommend

    http://www.beauticontrol.com/

You can buy it by age, sex, skin type what ever you prefer.

I would recommend buying the acne line

When your acne clears up you might want to think about going to the male products. Report Abuse

Use a GENTLE cleanser with no harsh chemicals. When washing face, wash very gently for no more than 10 seconds to avoid irritation. Rinse with warm water then very gently PAT dry. Harsh exfoliating scrubs can tear the skin and cause even more irritation. The less irritation you have the less breakouts.
theres no proper way to wash your face, just proper products.

oh, when you have acne its important not to scrub too hard and when youre drying your face, pat it dry, dont rub. use moisturizer (oil freee) and gentle products, like cetaphil.
first rinse the face thoroughly and then use a good cleanser and wash again. face and neck both. after washing, pat dry with a soft face towel. do not rub. use a moisturizer afterwards. use a cleanser that has some natural fruit ingredient. may help
    use gentle products and clothes
its great to exfoliate your face once a week and wash with water the other days to prevent dryness %26amp; breakouts from overstimulating with products
first rinse with warm water (to open pores) , then wash with a good facewash, then rinse with cold water :)
with soap and water. (easyer if you do it in the shower)
It won't matter how many times you wash your face. Acne has little to do with dirt but with hormones which can cause bacteria buildups in the skin. The only ways to prevent it are antibiotics and antibacterial cream. Go to your doctor, ask for a prescription of tetracycline. Also, its a good idea to get an acne cream with 5%+ benzoyl peroxide which is an antibacterial.

your face is irritated! you have sensitive skin, i use spectro jel, the purple bottle, it is the best cleanser for sensitive skin, imo.

wash your face twice a day with a simple cleanser and thats it, if you want you can use a nonscented moisturizer.

honestly, this happened to me and its because i was trying to hard to use every product, less is more in your case! I used a new face wash and within a couple days, my entire face was broken out. now, it's been a full week ?
Oh I don't think using alcohol on your face to dry things out is such a good idea :/

Your skin already sounds like its irritated due to the face wash you are using. Stop the use of that face wash and just let your face rest for a bit before using a DIFFERENT and more GENTLE face wash.

You can rinse your face with cold water often in hopes of getting the redness to tone down.

You can use a soothing moisturizer that's oil free and that won't clog pores. Make sure its for SENSITIVE skin, which is the type of skin that it sounds like you have. But if the pain or your condition is really severe and gets worse, you should go see a dermatologist right away because if you don't, you could cause permanent damage to the skin.
OMG...you do not have a breakout! You have a RASH. I get the same thing when I use a harsh skin care line. You shouldn't be using alcohol, that will only exacerbate your skin problem. The best thing to do is drink plenty of water, take a lot of vitamin C and vitamin E, take some Benedryl, use a very VERY mild cleanser like cetaphil or dove soap, then just wait for it to go away. Dry your face with a clean towel by patting it dry GENTLY. Do NOT put anything on your face. You can try and use a little bit of vitamin E cream, but the best thing for you to do is wait for your skin to HEAL.
It seems like you have sensitive skin to me. Go to a doctor (really, don't read this and be like, 'oh yeah,i'll do that' and never go to the doctor), and ask about it.

Sometimes skin treatments make your skin worse before it gets better because they have to bring out all of that nastiness, all of that bacteria from beneath to surface to the surface, in order to truly clear up skin.
just stop usin it u noe! its bad wateva u doin try somethin new! trial and error ^^

  • Can i just wash my face with regular facial soap and water to remove foudation?

I use maybelline liquid foundation, and i feel like most of its gone by the time i finish skool, and go to 2 hrs of track practice. so is it ok if i just wash my face with regualr facial soap and water??Can i just wash my face with regular facial soap and water to remove foudation?
Thats what I do. But if you still feel it on your screen try a face wash with beads in it they scrub away bacteria and make-up easily. Can i just wash my face with regular facial soap and water to remove foudation?
Yea, that's fine. Maybe you can switch to a make-up removing soap like Neutrogena.
Yeah most likely it would come off.
yes, that's fine. be sure to use a gentle soap

Regular face wash in between Proactive washes?

Is it a good idea to use Proactive in the morning, then after I work out use the neutrogena face wash, then at nigt use proactive again? Because after I work out, I can't go the entire rest of the day without washing my face. I feel the zits popping up.Regular face wash in between Proactive washes?
Sounds fine to me, just keep an eye out for excessive dryness and you should be fine. Also, if dryness should become a problem, Proactiv makes has a good moisturizer available.Regular face wash in between Proactive washes?
I think that will over-dry your face. Proactiv makes my skin very dry...so I only use it once a day at night. My skin is still clear.
maybe too much. you might be aggrevating your skin as well as drying it out. just get a warm cloth and wipe your face down. or get those paper things.
As long as your skin isn't excessively dry then you're straight. When I shower, I use Clean and Clear instead of my Proactiv.

What should you wash your face with if you have normal skin?

Try Ponds Fresh Start Daily Exfoliating Cleanser. It is a creamy cleanser with little scrubby beads (very gentle though! not like a St. Ives scrub or anything). It smells good, makes your face feel REALLY clean without being too drying, and also helps improve any acne/oiliness etc.

It is about $5.50 at Walmart, and $7 at Walgreens. Try it!What should you wash your face with if you have normal skin?
try eucerin productWhat should you wash your face with if you have normal skin?
Ditto Rachel. I use the same Ponds cleanser! I love it because sometimes with hormones %26amp; all skin isn't as normal %26amp; it still works great day or night, all seasons.
You should wash your face with a beauty soap. And don't go in sunlight.
    Neutrogena mousterizing face cleanser.
Neutrogena has a great selection of face wash; they also have a lot of moisturizers, and masks that can assist with facial needs. It has worked well for a majority of my clients.
    use a facewash--himalayas herbal one or st.Ives
    St.Ive's Exfoliating Apricot Facial Cleanser.

You can probably find it at Shoppers, Superstore or Wal Mart.

AND ST.IVES DOESNT TEST ON ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the best thing to wash your face with to unclog pores, and fight acne. and even out a skin tone?

hey, ok well i dont have that much acne, what product will keep my skin nice and smooth, without any iritation? What is the best thing to wash your face with to unclog pores, and fight acne. and even out a skin tone?
go to a health food store and pick up a bottle of tea tree oil... mix a few drops in a little bit of water and rub on face daily for a pimple apply one drop of the tea tree oil directly too it...it's all natural safe cheap and easyWhat is the best thing to wash your face with to unclog pores, and fight acne. and even out a skin tone?
    proactive
    Talk to a doctor.

When you *workout* when do you wash your face before,or after?

Say i excersize in the middle of the day,do i still have to wash my face again?,or should i just rinse it with water, and wash it again at night. When you *workout* when do you wash your face before,or after?
I workout at night so I can just wash my face and be done. If you excersize mid day I would suggest washing after and then again at night. You are sweating and if you don't wash after it could lead to breakouts. Since you will be washing so frequently (I am assuming you wash in the am after you wake up too) I would use a gentle cleanser for that post workout wash. When you *workout* when do you wash your face before,or after?
    After...
I would DEFINATELY wash it after you workout. You'll have so much oil and sweat on your face, which will stay with you all day and turn into zits.
normally both, but if your going to do just one wash your face afterwards to wash out all the oil and other icky stuff like sweat that has started to cloge your pores during your work-out
i do both but definatly after
i would say before and after because if your skin has any dirt in it, it'll come out in your sweat and spread, and after because you don't want the sweat to dry on your skin, it can't be good for your skin if you don't
You should do both. Because sweat can easily miz into grease on your forehead which causes acne.
after you workout and then again before you go to bed!
after exercising just rinse your face off w/ warm-to-cool water, don't cleanse it until bed time.

Whats the best drug store face wash?

ProActive.I need a really good face wash that keeps your skin clear and pimple free, i dont have acne, jus get pimples.?
try clean %26amp; clear continuous control acne cleanser. even though you dont have acne, it takes care of pimples, zits, whatever. its only around $5 or $6 and you can find it at most drugstores like cvs, rite aid, etc. it really works %26amp; the best part is you can feel it working even afterr you wash your face. trust me. worked for me and my friends love it. goodluck!
Basis. It's what my mom used, and it's cleared up my skin quite nicely. In addition, use a salicylic acid spot treatment. Both are found in any drug store.
i love using cetaphil products. my mom is a dermatologist so i always get that from her. it works really good and makes your face really soft and smooth!

neutrogena. its the only one that works for me.

What's the best way to wash your face?

What's the best way to wash your face without creating bumps or pimples or even agitation to the skin? What's the best way to wash your face?
Well, as far as products go, it all depends on your skin type.

As far as techniques go, put the cleanser on your finger tips and with a bit of water, apply to your face in circular motions. Be gentle as possible, though. Then rinse your face, and PAT dry your face if you choose not to air dry it.

If you have oily skin, try Oat cleanser from Bath %26amp; Body Works. What's the best way to wash your face?
    water and cleanser soap.
do NOT use plain soap. It dries out your face which makes it produce more oil...and you dont want that.

The way to wash your face is to first wet it, put what ever product you have in ur finger tips and rub together, then GENTLY apply on your face and rub in a circle motion. thats how i wash mine and i dont have pimples. Make sure to rinse very well too and with cold water. THat closes your pores, making it smaller. Hope this helps
first wet ur face w lukewarm water(to open pores), den apply ur facewash n finally rinse it off w cold water(to close pores).it's best if ur face wash is non-como.
Use plain soap with no dyes or scents and warm water and a washcloth.
try a face wash..... like neutrogena two in one..... or you can try proactive
    Nutregena oil free face wash.

its gentle and it works :)

What to wash my dogs face with?

I have tried the eye cleaners on my dogs but this is more for just a dirty face when getting a bath. Anyone have any idea's on what to use besides plain water? What to wash my dogs face with?
At petsmart they have tearless shampoo for dogs use it.What to wash my dogs face with?
A plain washcloth works best. If you need to use soap, use tearless baby shampoo - just don't use too much and make sure you rinse it out well.
baby shampoo works great on the whole body but is gentle enough that if you do get it in the eyes it won't hurt them
Just water and a wash cloth or one of those gloves that are like towels are really nice I use them on my chihuahua but be very gentle.
I always use a wash cloth for my pooches.
I also use a washcloth and warm water BUT if soap is needed is use either tear-free dog shampoo or baby shampoo.
Contrary to the numerous replies suggesting that you use baby shampoo on your dog, baby shampoo is NOT OK. Dogs' skin is 3-5 cell layers thick, while human skin is 10-15 layers thick - this includes babies' skin. Dogs' skin is much more sensitive than ours, and you should only use shampoos formulated for dogs. As for what to use for a dirty face, our new product, Kissy Face Pet Facial, is intended for just what you asked. As the owner of Furfection Naturals grooming products, I've done years of research on products for dogs and cats. I invite you to visit www.furfection.com for more information.
    Bath Time

Bath time is much easier after a thorough brushing. Place your dog in a tub or a basin with a non-skid surface. Hold your dog's collar firmly, then slowly pour several pitchers of lukewarm water over his body, being careful to leave the head dry.

Soap your dog's body with a dog shampoo, then massage the soap into a lather, talking to your dog and praising him as you work. When his body is lathered, move to his head, being careful to keep shampoo out of his eyes, ears and mouth.

Rinse and dry your dog's head, then rinse his body. When the water runs clear, rinse one more time.

Thoroughly dry your dog with towels. If your dog has healthy skin, you can dry him further with a hair dryer set on low or warm temperature.

Bathe smaller dogs such as poodles and schnauzers every two or three weeks, except in the winter when once a month will probably do. Larger pets need bathing several times a year. Of course, always wash a pet when it is dirty or smells, regardless of when it was last bathed.Bath time is much easier after a thorough brushing. They have lubricant for the eyes, so put a little in his/her eyes(make sure you dont touch the end of the applicator tube to the eye) and then simply use some tearless baby shampoo. However, if it is a breed that has dark discharge from the eyes, there is also whitening shampoo that you can buy, just make sure you lube the eyes first. The only key for washing the face is to make sure that you dont cause them discomfort. So, while youre washing his face, just rub his ears or pet him at the same time, and it will distract him long enough for you to wash him effectively. Hope this helps

I have large pores on my cheeks. I wash my face right and I use expensive products. Nothing is seeming to help

Does anyone know anything that helps. Ive tried a couple primers before my foundation but I didn't like the brands I tried. I also have dry skin that peels on my nose. Im using aveeno face wash and moisturizer. Im not sure what products to use because some of my skin is really dry and my cheeks are oily. How do you fix this?I have large pores on my cheeks. I wash my face right and I use expensive products. Nothing is seeming to help
Your skins is a lot like mine. Dry in some places, oily in others. Combination skin.

Biore has a line of pore-minimizing products. They might help.

Use an exfoliator 2-3 times a week, such as a scrub (St. Ive's Apricot Scrub is popular), or make your own from honey and sugar. This will help get rid of dead skin cells that peel on your nose.I have large pores on my cheeks. I wash my face right and I use expensive products. Nothing is seeming to help
Here's what i did, (i had pores the size of canada[no offence to canada]) I tried products, none too expensive though.. seemed pointless.. then i saw somewhere that pores close or actually becomes smaller when you're sleeping and when you wake up you'll see them small, to let it retain its 'mini-sizedness' i have a good *family remedy*(cool term!) Well i have a couple of clean towels and soak em' in near freezing water... and leave them in the fridge (not refridgerator) then when i sleep i put the ';towel-masks'; on my face throughout the night, i normally wake up with the towels under my head.. or in my pants.. *weird really* but i sorta got accustomed to the solitary sleeping position and now it's barely the size of a pin head! wooopeee! And the cool-ness of the towel is actually reducing the oily-ness yay! and i also refrained from oily foods, it kinda kills me both outside and inside...
I heard that pores are natural and that you can't change it, unless you get face surgery.
If your skin is dry don't put it all over, just on your cheeks where you have open pores.

Use witch hazel toner, it will keep them clean and toned
Hello! Im doing IPL on my armpits now for laser hair removal but the same treatment was offered to me on my facial pores. My dermatologist claims it can really help tighten my pores thus make skin on the face more luminescent. Why dont you consult your local derma who offers IPL treatment. There's just a little sting to it but its not painful. Hope this helps!!
i have that problem too.so does my mom.it sucks.you really cant do anything to fix it.you can only reduce the appearance of large pores.anything you buy is just temporary.just keep your face clean to keep the pores clean when they are dirty the pores are darker and stand out more.you should just goto a dermatologist and find out exactly what you should use to avoid buying lots of products...trial and error sucks(costly too) applying to many products to your skin just irritates it and makes things worse.

try queen helenes mint julep mask for instant gratification
Dont put soap on ur face, just wash with cold water so that it can colse ur pores, and DONT TOUCH UR FACE WHEN UR OUTSIDE!! and every other day put vitamin D.

    gOOD lUCK=)
Well you can't get rid of large pores but you can minimize them by using a clay mask on the cheek area! Try the Mint Julep, you can buy it anywhere.., use it twice a week, or any clay mask would be good, it absorbs the oil from the pores.

For the dry areas get a heavier (thicker) moisturizer and apply it at night.

    Good Luck!

And be sure to exfoliate twice a week also.
Usually using the cheaper products works better.
There's nothing you can do to shrink your pores. It's a part of your natural features. But you can make them less visible. You have some combination skin so I think you should try non-oil products. For pore minimizing, you can try Clinique's pore minimizer lotion.

    Hope that helps

What Cherrybomber said! That product is the SHI*! It's like bondo for your skin. Go to a Clinique counter and ask for that pore filler-inner stuff! It's AMAZING!
I have tried them all. Cheap expensive, everything.

Finally, somebody told me that your pores are the size they are no matter what. You can do things to make them look smaller with makeup, etc, but you can't actually change their size...

It sucks, but it makes sense...

I use Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector makeup. It comes in a little tube and has the lightest touch, but fills in your pores (does not clog them) and has a flawless matte finish...

Does the type of water you use to wash your face matter?

For instance, is using drinking water to wash your face better than faucet water? Is it true that if you use fresh drinking water instead of salty faucet water, it reduces the chance of acne? (saulty faucet water, because the place I live, the faucet water runs quite salty water) thanks you guys!!Does the type of water you use to wash your face matter?
yes, fresh drinking water would be betterDoes the type of water you use to wash your face matter?
Yes! the wet kind is prefererd, this type is usually accesable from any bathroom tap or kitchen tap as well I find the hot tap much more effcient in cleansing!
Yes, it can, the softer the water the better. Since you have Hard Salty faucet water, it leaves your skin dry, causing your skin to produce more oil. This causes acne, using softer water or a filter would help.
well considering where you live it will probably help if you use fresh drinking water... thats what i would do! But you could also change the soap like get some kind thats oil free (i got some a target) and that has helped a lot!
I wouldn't recommend using salty water every day on your face maybe as much as you would go to the beach it would most definitely start to cause skin problems after a consistency of usage the drinking water would be better for every day use

  • Is it bad to wash your face a lot?

i wash my face with noxema maybe 2 or 3 times a day to treat and prevent acne (not that i have bad skin, its pretty good) will this ever damage my skin? like make wrinkles or anything when im older?

    btw im 15

thanks! Is it bad to wash your face a lot?
O IT OT BAD TO WASH YOUR FACE ALOT..........NO IT WON'T make wrinkles or anything when YOUR oldERIs it bad to wash your face a lot?
Not at all. If you were washing it 15-20 times per day I'd have some OCD concerns.
its bAD TO WASH YOUR FACE TO MUCH OR THEN IT WILL CLOG PORES AND MAKE YOUR SKIN BAD YOU SHOULD ONLY WASH YOUR FACE IN THE MORNING AND AT NIGHT ONLY AND PUT SOME LOTION ON YOUR FACE

im happy to help you bye :)
not at all!! i try to wash mine atleast twice aday :::Once in the morning and once at night::::
i wouldn't think it would cause wrinkles as long as it isn't full of chemicals...if so maybe alternate between the noxema and a milder face wash

the only thing that may occur from washing too much would be drying out your skin so be sure to moisturize often
NO ur supposed to wash ur face 2 times a day!! its not alot! washing ur face 5-6 times a day is really bad, and actually causes acne.
no it's actually very good for your hygiene keep it up hun

I need a face wash that will work any suggestions ?

i have pretty bad acne and i have tried alot of things does anybody have any sugestions?? pleasee and thankk you...I need a face wash that will work any suggestions ?
unfortunately, with acne prone skin, you have to try just about everything before you find the right one for you. we all react differently to different products. some people swear by proactive, but it didn't do anything for me. same with clinique...waste of money. my dermatologist recommended cetaphil, neutrogena, and eucarin. what actually worked for me and i was amazed that it worked so fast, was aveeno. its oil free which helps controls the oil that clogs your pores and lessens the breakout. within a week my face was almost completely clear! i only break out now and again because i'm pregnant, but it has ultimately controlled my acne and has helped smooth out my face.

i start with a regular bar of oatmeal soap, doesn't have to be aveeno brand, but just make sure it is oil free. i lather up and it helps to soften your skin. i follow with Aveeno's positively radiant daily brightening scrub and don't get scared, it won't irritate your face as it is a SUPER fine scrub, not like those st. ives ones that are harsh on your skin. i put on a quarter size amount on my palms and use my palms to smooth out my skin. good luck! i hope this works for you as it did for me!I need a face wash that will work any suggestions ?
Prescriptives is a line of products that is great for skin prone to break outs, which is the kind of skin that I have.

I use Cetaphil and it seems to work for me. I've been using salicylic acid to touch on any acne. I use Neutrogena astingent with salicylic acid. My skin looks pretty clear to me. It's not perfect but decent.

I use Prescriptives Anti-Age lotion. I apply it once a day. It is sheer and absorbs into your skin perfectly. It makes my skin look healthy and clean. It does have a tint to it.

My stepdaughter who is now 14 washes her face with just water and it's been working for her. My husband does the same and it works for him. SD had really bad acne and has been to the dermatologist more than once. She tried ProActive, which did nothing for her.

I have tried ProActive and it did nothing for me. I think it's better if you have mild acne.

Look for products that say non-comedogenic. Make sure the first ingredient is water. Less is more as far as products go. You don't need a complicated skincare regiment. It might further aggravate your skin. Don't use toner because it will just make your skin produce more oil.
Hi, I used to have problem skin but after using the Clinigue face wash for oily combination skin my skin looks great.I used to work for Clinique and also Lancome and would advise you to visit department stores and ask for free samples for your skin type. This way you get to try before you commit to a product and don't waste money.

Also perhaps visit your doctor and let him make sure it is acne you have as acne and spots can be two different problems.

Look at the ingredients on the back of products. If it has SALICYLIC ACID in this is an ingredient that treats spots. If the product does not have it in it is not as effective.

    Hope this helps.
you could try this neutragene oil free acne wash, you should be able to find it any drug story cause ive seen it lots of places. It really helps keep my skin oil free for the day so my pores dont clog up. It has a type of acid in it (dont worry its okay for your skin, this acid is in alot of face washes) that helps clear up your skin.

Look for it in an orange bottle. hope it helps :)
    okay DONT use proActive because:

    1. it sucks your money

    2.it bleaches your skin

    3. it may not work on you (everyone has different skin so everyone needs a different cleanser)

What I do is use Oxy (its black and red on the container ) day and night and put gentle skin cleanser on after that.

    it works amazing trust me!

    GooD luck!
Definetly go with Clinique! They are absolutley GREAT! You can get them at department stores. My aunt got it for me once and I have used it ever since. It is great and you can also get a lotion to put on afterwards and it makes your skin feel really smooth. Hope I helped!
I use cover girl ';eye makeup remover'; only 5 dollars

Its best to get a good face lotion/moisterizer.

I use Clean%26amp;Clear Acne Face wash and Olay Sensitive Skin lotion. My skin never dries out, and its not too expensive

neutrogena deep clean. it works for me and i have dry skin.

After I use Tea Tree oil face wash, should I put lotion on every time? And is the toner worth it?

no need. But if the skins start wrinkling, then you can use lotion right away, but if not, just let it be.

    Glad to help.

How can I cure dry skin on my face? I wash it but that makes it worse, then i put vasline on but it makes it..

vasline makes my skin spotty. So I wash it again, Most creams i see in the chemist are hand and nail cream I buy one then it stings my face, so i mix it with oil this helps a little but still makes spots.

    what should I do?

My skin eather goes all dry, or all spotty and icky. How can I cure dry skin on my face? I wash it but that makes it worse, then i put vasline on but it makes it..
Try 'Bag Balm'..an old and effective and safe remedy. How can I cure dry skin on my face? I wash it but that makes it worse, then i put vasline on but it makes it..
i suggest that you clean your skin with a cream cleanser. and if you want to use a toner make sure it is for dry %26amp; sensitive skin. than moisturize your skin with a moisturizer for face with spf day and night cream. you can get aveeno, , neutrgena or anything you feel comfortabel buying. good luck : )
If you are washing your face with mains tap water ... this might be making your skin worse because of the chlorine bleaches ... it does mine. Don't use any soap or foaming products on your face.

Use pure jojoba oil on your skin as a moisturiser, it will help with any dryness %26amp; also regulate your skin oils

    Good luck
go to skin and beauty isle in a longs or right aide, and try a few FACIAL moisturizers untill you find one that works.. Oil and vasoline arn't good for your face because it clogs your pores and doesn't let your skin breathe hense the red blotches
Avoide the sun for a few days. Buy some dove face wash and wash 2 times a day. Wear sunscreen daily and always try to protect your face when in the sun, try a big sun hat and some sun glasses.
Try a light lotion of olive oil.

That's what the ancient greek women did.

Do you shave after or before you wash your face?

Ok i wash my face 2 times a day. Once in the morning when i get up and another at night before i go to sleep. But do i shave first then wash my face or do i wash my face and then shave? and if i put on after shave would it effect my acne?Do you shave after or before you wash your face?
Wash after shaveDo you shave after or before you wash your face?
well you should wash your face with nice warm water then dry it up and then shave then if you are using a non electric shaver and you have shaving cream wash your face again but if it's electric shaver you shouldn't have to also i don't think any after shave should effect your acne but read the label and it says something to not use it something that applies to effecting acne then it should or shouldn't whatever it specified
Well I can answer that shaving thing it doesn't really matter all doing it after washing face is just so that it is easier and a less of a chance of getting cut but otherwise It doesn't matter shaving is shaving and the acne thing I cant answer
I use an electric razor - so I wash my face first - then - I apply rubbing alcohol to my face to make the whiskers stand up straighter for a closer shave - then I apply after shave when finished.
You wash your face after you shave
    Wash before shaving is best

POLL: How many times per day do you wash your face?

Also, do you think 3x per day is too often, even it's done with a gentle cleanser?POLL: How many times per day do you wash your face?
If you are washing your face with an all natural product like Kiss my Face, LaVitton or DHC, you can wash your pretty little face whenever the urge arises. It's only when you use that harsh crap they sell in the grocery store where you shouldn't wash your face mre than 2x's a day. A clean face is a happy face!!POLL: How many times per day do you wash your face?
i wash mine at least 3x a day
you wash it all the time because it gets greasy
I wash in the shower in the mornings and again at night. Three times a day is too much. Way too drying for the skin (unless you have oily skin, I suppose) and also, the chlorine and other chemicals in tap water damage the skin's natural protective barrier (basically, the natural oils which offer protection against the environment). On days where I'll just be at home and not go out, I only wash once and that's in the shower.
    i clean about 2 times a day on a normal basis...but idk
i was my face 2x a day. first time is in the shower with aveeno, radiant skin. the 2nd time is after i use a cleanser from clinique to get the pores to open up again, then i rinse with lukewarm water. 3X shouldn't be too much...i bet u have great skin!! =)
I have very oily skin, and my beautician recommended me to wash my face 3 times (and not more than that because, like you said, the oil glands will produce more oil if you wash it anymore than that). If you use a gentle mosturizer and have oily skin, then 3 times a day is fine. Otherwise, you can wash 2 times a day.
i wash 2 times daily. i think 3 times is too much
i wash my face every morning, and sometimes at night, depending on if it feels icky... i wouldn't wash it more than twice a day or you'll get dry skin.
i wash twice a day with neutrogena face cleansing cloths but that only cause i work in bakery, with the heat and the sweat and the flour.

i think if ur face can stand up to it, then its okay.

but as soon as irritation starts, and that includes drying out, try cutting down,
I wash my face two time a day. Once in the morning while I'm showering, and in the evening to take off my makeup before bed. I don't think three time a day is bad. I just wouldn't have the patience to redo my makeup in the middle of the day.
I clean my face 2 times a day.

I think its enough one in the morning and one in the night.
If your skin is really oily, 3 times is fine. I don't know your age, but the older you get, the harder a time your skin has peeling off those dead layers, so I don't your skin would mind being extra clean and fresh!
just twice a day.....before going to bed and in the morning
    two times a day.
    2 times a day. exfoliate and moisturize...everything.
Twice a day is plenty. Once in the morning and always, always before bed time. I believe 3x a day is too much. The more you wash, the more oil your face will produce to combat the dryness. Therefore, pimples and blackheads from the oil. If your face is greasy during the day, use face blotters. Of course, if you are a 5 year old and can't eat anything without getting it on your face, wash as needed!
once in the morning in the shower and then i take my make up off at the end of the day with these clothes they sell for removing it i find that better that using make up remover creams just rinse it dry it and sleep.
i wash my face 3x a day also...i have really oily skin and i feel more refreshed when i wash my face afterschool...

so yea morning, afterschool and night is when i wash it.

it all depends on your skin type(oily , dry , combination.)

How long should you wash your face for?

especially if you have acne prone skin? How long should you wash your face for?

Which is best face wash for male to remove dirt and also should suit Indian skin?

aveenoWhich is best face wash for male to remove dirt and also should suit Indian skin?
I would begin with an oat meal mask

stir oatmeal into a small amount of water hot water to make a paste then apply to face let dry. wipe excess with terry cloth then rinse face in hot water push nose back to let out excess oils use a mild facial scrub to lift excess dirt. get a facial brush from a dollar store some times they are hard to find or order one .circular motion with the facial brush towards the ears.Which is best face wash for male to remove dirt and also should suit Indian skin?
Any face wash with an exfoliator will best suit to remove dirt on the skin and deep into your pores. However, i would suggest you try out a few and see which ones work best for you. As, what works for others may not work for you. All in all i suggest using products such as Clinique and Lancome...they are guaranteed quality!
SOS pads would work for indians.
I would recommend the Joesoef Skin Care Anti-Acne Sulfur Soap 10%. It uses natural sulfur, and your skin feels really clean after using it. The scent is nice, and it would be strong enough for a man. I've done lots of research on using sulfur, and it is supposed to be really good for anti-bacterial and anti-fungal purposes. Plus, you can use it on your face and body!
Tolsom is the best, my husband also use it and we are also Indians. To check by yourself,i would recommend u to go on the following site :

  • Is it bad to wash your face with salicylic acid every morning? ?

I use Aveeno Active Naturals Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser in the mornings. Is this to harsh for the skin?Is it bad to wash your face with salicylic acid every morning? ?
Not at all. Salicylic acid is mild exfoliant (although, pretty effective.)

I used it twice daily. Never dried out my skin or caused irritation.

Is it bad to wash your face with salicylic acid every morning? ?
I think it should be fine as long as you use a moisturizer because it can be very harsh on your skin, especially if you are prone to dry skin to begin with
No, I think it's fine. Aveeno is a very good brand. Please tell me how well it worked for you in clearing up your acne

Whats a good face wash to get ride of blackheads...?

I had bad skin when I was younger, the whole acne thing cleared up finally. Now the only thing I cant get rid of is the large pores and blackheads. Is there something I can get that actually works that doesn't cost a lot of money?Whats a good face wash to get ride of blackheads...?
clean and clear has one specifically for blackheadsWhats a good face wash to get ride of blackheads...?
Below are presented a couple of things you need to do as a part of acne pimples home remedy treatment:

Gently apply fresh limejuice on pimples and blackheads.

Dab the mixture made by combining 1 tsp fresh coriander powder and a pinch of turmeric powder on the pimples, while going to bed in the night and wash it off when you wake up the next morning.

Take a few fresh curry leaves and make a paste. Apply the paste on the acne-affected area and keep it overnight and wash it off with warm water the next morning.

Apply the paste made of nutmeg (Jaiphal) and raw milk on acne and wash it off after 20 minutes. Do it for about 10-12 days and see the magical effects.
olay products are the best. i cant tell you whats the best for your skin because you know your skin much better than i. so here is a site that would let you choose the product that is right for you according to what you need.

i went on it and did it and its amazing. it works to match what ur skin needs.

What is the best cleanser for acne prone skin?apricot face wash or cetaphil daily cleanser?

i have an oily, acne prone skin...I heard many good reviews about these 2 cleansers..im using sebamed now, but it doesnt work for me...i hv a very oily skinWhat is the best cleanser for acne prone skin?apricot face wash or cetaphil daily cleanser?
Cetaphil is the best. What is the best cleanser for acne prone skin?apricot face wash or cetaphil daily cleanser?
I would advise Cetaphil daily cleanser because it is specially made for those people who have sensitive skin, and for some people who have skin concerns. I see a lot of people in our country who use it. But just to be sure you can check both product's specialties, before moving onto the product you had chosen.
Honestly, I would recommend both. I'm assuming you mean apricot face scrub, and if you do, then use that only once or twice a week at most. Use cetaphil all the other times. Also, since you have oily skin, you may want to consider a gentle toner; one last thing- if you use moisturizer cetaphil makes good ones with added SPF.
mary kay has very effective products for ance and you will see the result within days with no side effect cos its herbal.so i advive you check the next available store to ask for a marykay product that will help you get rid of your ance permanently.then always stay away from the strong rays of sun but if you most, use a sunscreen product to rub your exposed parts before you go under the sun

    gud luck!!!
i have never used any of the two, but i would recommend 'Neutrogena Clean and Clear' works a treat, you can almost notice the difference overnight.
