What is best to wash my face with?

I am 17 years old and am so confused with all the facial washes out now and brands. I am scared to try different things because I don't want it to make my skin worse.

I tend to have ';shiny skin'; and don't know which product to use to get rid of it.

HELP.What is best to wash my face with?
A great face wash that I use is from Origins. It's a bit more expensive than the regular ance face washes but it's WORTH EVERY PENNY. It's called Checks %26amp; Balances from Origins. It's about 20bucks but it lasts a lot longer. Also, it's all natural, so you're not puting unknown chemicals on your skin. It's a great investment I've made and will continue to use.

I've had the worst on trying to find good cleansers that doesn't wreck my skin in the midst of using it. From the very start I started using C%26amp;B, I saw a dramtic improvement in the texture of my skin, it has evened out the color, my acne is gone and my face is less shiney. I have a wonderful glow from using it. It's just a great NATURAL product.

Good luck in what ever you find. I know how hard it is to find something that works. What is best to wash my face with?
Hey. I have shinny skin too, especially after a shower. Hmm, I dont' know but I guess water and shampoo is fine.
toilet watter
I think out of everything I ever tried, Noxema is the best. It's inexpensive and it cleans your face well. If you have oily or dry skin it makes your skin look and feel really good.

I wash my face with it twice a day. It takes off mascara / other eye makeup pretty good as well.
Just use Safeguard
I use soap and water and I've never had acne or oily skin or any other problem with my skin. Oh and wash your face when you wake up and before you go to bed.
play in the mud
use a clearisil foaming facial cleanser. designed to limit the ammount of oil produced by your face. pull your bangs away from your face during time when you absolutely dont need them.
THE BEST THING TO WASH YOUR FACE IN IS PURE HOT WATER ON A WASH CLOTH BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING IN THE WATER. AND ALSO YOU CAN USE A NEWBORN BABY PAMPER IT ALSO HELPS
stick with soap and water, and talk to your doc. they might at least put you in touch with a dermatologist. stridex is a standard.
You should use Clearasil Ultra.
Everyone says Proactive works the best and I tend to agree. They have very basic instructions and products (such as oil control) that don't cost too much. You can order online, through the info-mercial and often at the mall. The stuff you get at the store can be good but I agree there are too many to choose from. There is also usually too much perfume to the stuff and I don't think that face wash should have all that extra stuff that can make you break out. Proactive is good to use even if you don't have a real problem with acne because it has a good exfoliant and is good at preventing any problems.

kinerase. it is good for all skin types. and it also can remove make up. go to a dermatologist and ask for a sample or two and try it!!

Or you can first read up on it at www.kinerase.com

good luck!!!
Mary Kay has an oil control lotion, formula number 3. Its awesome, makes your skin feel like velvet, no matter how many bumps you have. It also helps make-up go on smoothly and stay on. The bottle I bought last year is finally running low, and it cost 13 bucks. A light dusting of a loose or pressed powder may also help. Foundation gives the powder a place to set.
Use clean and clear morning burst shine cleanser each morning, with an astringent (done by clean and clear as well.)

Then, at night, cleanse with St. Ive's Apricot Cleanser, and use clean and clear acne cream on your face (gets rid of breakouts.)

Use spot cleaners for larger zits and use a facial exfoliant (I use the Jason Apricot Scrubble but if you can't find that then use St. Ives Apricot one)

Always cleanse after exfoliating your face.

Use hot water to start your face clean and then use Cold water after to seal the pores, and stuff
