Is there a certain order i should use these in: toner, face wash or face lotion?

i know toner gets rid of access oil but face lotion and face wash can make your face oilier so i was wonder if i should apply them on different days or in a certain order or what.Is there a certain order i should use these in: toner, face wash or face lotion?
1) Face wash

2) Toner

3) Face Lotion

Face wash should always come first. Any masks should come after that. Toner is meant to get rid of any soapy residue or mask residue as well, so toner should come after facial washes and masks. Lotion should always be applied last, according to most beauty consultants.

If it's really humid in your area, you could probably skip the lotion on some days and manage with just toner, because the toner I have moisturizes a bit as well. If you live in a dry area like I do, make sure that your lotion isn't too greasy or oily and leaves a matte finish on your face - that will keep your face from being too oily. And as for face wash being oily, as far as I know, face washes are meant to clean your face of oils and not add too many new oils to it, although different brands use different moisturizers of course.

So if you want to decrease the oil on your face by skipping some steps, I'd suggest one of the following methods:

1) Wash

2) Lotion

OR

1) Wash

2) Toner IF your toner is non-greasy yet moisturizing at the same time

Or just mix and match on a day-night or every-other-day basis.

I ran out of cotton facial pads last week and every since I've been skipping the toner - that works fine for me as well, though the dry patches on my face don't moisturize as easily without the toner.

Hope that helps! Is there a certain order i should use these in: toner, face wash or face lotion?
morning: wash, toner, lotion

night: wash, lotion
